Scope and Content Note The materials in FOIA 2025-0756-F (Segment 2) are a selective body of documents responsive to the topic of the FOIA. The researcher submitted a request for materials related to Adnan Khashoggi, a Saudi businessman and arms dealer. Mr. Khashoggi was known for his considerable wealth and extravagant lifestyle, and for lavish parties that flaunted his powerful connections. Mr. Khashoggi died in 2017 at the age of 81. Materials responsive to this FOIA request consist primarily of press, specifically Slate Magazine newsletters from December 2000. There are also digests of posts from the “Gore 2k1” eGroup.
