FOIA request 2013-0664-F consists of printed records from electronic databases that recorded Barbra Streisand’s entry to the White House, and attendance at events that included President Clinton. President Clinton stated that his long friendship with Barbra Streisand began during the 1992 campaign. Streisand was apart of the 1993 Inaugural Activities, famously singing “Evergreen” at the 1993 Presidential Gala. Streisand and Clinton’s mother, Virginia Kelley, shared a special friendship before Kelley’s death. Streisand attended Kelley’s funeral service in Hot Springs, Arkansas in 1994. The majority of the records produced for this FOIA were located in databases that recorded all of President Clinton’s activities including personal activities and participants. As a result, many responsive records have been withdrawn as Personal Record. The majority of the records produced for this FOIA are considered personal in-part or in-whole which resulted in many closures related to personal privacy.

Records that are responsive to this FOIA request were found in the White House Electronic Daily Diary System and the Worker and Visitor Entry System (WAVES) data set The Electronic Daily Diary is a log of the President’s daily activities and is arranged chronologically by date. The Electronic WAVES Search System is a log of visitors/appointments to the White House and is arranged by name of visitor there-under by date.

Chapter 22, as amended) and the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) (5 U.S.C. 552, as amended) and therefore records may be restricted in whole or in part in accordance with legal exemptions.
