This collection consists of records from Broderick Johnson, White House Office of Legislative Affairs. This collection contains the files of Broderick Johnson, who served as Special Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs from March 1998 to September 1999 and Deputy Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs from September 1999 to August 2000. He worked as a chief lobbyist for White House legislative affairs operations where he led a team of people that aided either blocking adverse legislation or lobbying for favorable legislation. 2025-0518-S consists of correspondence from members of Congress and congressional staff, federal agencies, memoranda, emails, news articles, draft legislation, reports, schedules, speeches, press releases, contact lists, statistical material and handwritten notes.
