From 1996 until 1997, web published a series of articles titled “Dark Alliance.” The “Dark Alliance” series reported that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) was involved with the crack cocaine trade in Los Angeles, California. This collection only contains press and internet articles emailed to individuals with White House email accounts. The articles mention Gary Webb’s book or series “Dark Alliance.” The organizations associated with the emailed articles are “ABC This Week,” “Drugsence,” Drugwatch,” “All Stories,” and “DRCNet.” Record Type Electronic Records System of Arrangement Records that are responsive to this FOIA request were found in these collection areas— Clinton Presidential Records: (SAS) Automated Records Management System [Email]; Clinton Presidential Records: (SAS) Tape Restoration Project.
