Scope and Content Note From February 1993 to January 1999, Jennifer Klein served within the Domestic Policy Council as a senior policy analyst, and later served as the Special Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy. She simultaneously served as a health policy assistant to the First Lady. The collection highlights topics relating to Medicare, Medicaid, health care reform and the Health Security Act, and the 1996 State of the Union. Correspondence between the First Lady and various members of Congress also figures prominently in the collection. The records include memos, correspondence, reports, drafts, and talking points.
