Dwyer served as Deputy Director of Presidential Correspondence and Presidential Messages in 1993 and Deputy Associate Attorney General in the Department of Justice from 1993 to 1997. This collection consists of letters, memorandum, notes, proclamations, and reports. These materials primarily describe the operation of the Correspondence Department and also contain monthly summary reports from the Department. Scope and Content Note Bruce Reed spent the entire eight years of the Clinton Administration in the Domestic Policy Council rising from a Deputy Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy in 1993 to serving as Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy Council (DPC) and Director, DPC from 1997 thru 2001. His hand was visible in the implementation of the Clinton Administration’s domestic policies, especially in the areas of welfare reform, crime, education, and tobacco. The Publications series includes books, pamphlets, reports and other such bound material covering topics such as budget, health care, welfare reform, housing, National Performance Review, employment, persons with disabilities, and teen pregnancies.
