This collection consists of correspondence from members of Congress and congressional staff, federal agencies, memoranda, briefing materials, invitation lists, printed emails, news articles, speeches, schedules, publications, reports, press releases, statistical material and handwritten notes. Scope and Content Note This collection contains the files of Matthew Murguia, who served as Associate Director for Policy at the Office of National AIDS Policy from 2000-2001. From December 1997 through February 1999, Mr. Murguia served as an Office of Minority Health (OMH) agency representative to the Interdepartmental Task Force on HIV/AIDS at the White House Office of National AIDS Policy. During that time, he coordinated the activities of the Interdepartmental Task Force on HIV/AIDS and focused his efforts on issues related to communities of color and research. Mr. Murguia coordinated Federal activities related to World AIDS Day 1998 and ensured that all Federal employees received the same World AIDS Day message on their pay stubs. 2025-0774-S consists of correspondence from members of Congress and congressional staff, federal agencies, memoranda, briefing materials, invitation lists, printed emails, news articles, speeches, schedules, publications, reports, press releases, statistical material and handwritten notes. Record Type Textual System of Arrangement Records of this systematically processed series were found in Clinton Presidential Records: White House Staff and Office Files, National AIDS Policy, Matthew Murguia. This systematic collection is arranged alphabetically. In the Staff and Office files of Matthew Murguia there was one 3.5” diskettes containing a memo and one CD-ROM containing various files. The materials from these diskettes have been processed electronically and are available for research in an electronic format. These files are referred to as assets.
