This collection contains the files of Dr. May Kennedy, who served as an Agency Representative for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the Office of National AIDS Policy under Sandra Thurman from March to December 2000. Her duties were to provide analysis relevant to policy in the area of HIV/AIDs prevention 2025-1051-S consists of correspondence, memoranda, printed emails, news articles, publications, reports, press releases, statistical material, briefing materials, meeting agendas and handwritten notes.

Records of this systematically processed series were found in Clinton Presidential Records: White House Staff and Office Files, National AIDS Policy Office, May Kennedy. This systematic collection is arranged alphabetically. In the Staff and Office files of May Kennedy there was one 3.5” diskette containing one file. The materials from the 3.5” diskette have been processed electronically and are available for research in an electronic format. These files are referred to as assets.
