Scope and Content Note This collection contains the files of Michael “Mike” Gehrke, who served as an Associate Director in the Office of Communications from June 1999 to January 2000 and Director of Research in the Office of Communications from January 2000 to January 2001. He provided information to White House staff by collecting information, verifying facts, and researching opposing viewpoints, in areas such as education, health care, welfare, taxes, and budgets. 2025-0373-S consists of correspondence, memoranda, emails, newspaper and magazine articles, invitations, reports, schedules, speeches, press releases, talking points, statistical material and handwritten notes.
