FOIA request 2015-0959-F contains the files of Clinton staffer Minyon Moore. Moore served as Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of Political Affairs 1997-98, Assistant to the President and Director of Public Liaison 1998-99, and Assistant to the President and Director of Political Affairs 1999-2001. While with the political affairs office she liaised with the Social Office, Public Liaison, and Intergovernmental Affairs. In her position as Director of the Office of Public Liaison she served as principle intermediary to non-government offices and constituencies. She was an active member of the task force that helped develop the President’s Initiative on Race. She came to the Clinton Administration from a political activist background, serving as national political director at the Democratic National Committee in the 1996 cycle. She also worked on Jesse Jackson’s 1984 and 1988 presidential campaigns and then with Michael Dukakis on his 1988 national campaign.
