Scope and Content Note Noa Meyer was hired as an assistant to the First Lady’s Deputy Chief of Staff Roberta Greene in September 1997. Her position was retitled as Researcher in November 1998 until her departure in August of 1999. Most of the records in this collection originate from that research work but there are some residuals from her past White House assignments. Also included are FLOTUS foreign trip books from 1997 used by speechwriters Laura Capps and David Shipley. In addition, there is a binder of inaugural material from 1997 which might have come from Meyer’s previous position on the inaugural committee in 1996/1997.
