This collection consists of records of correspondence related to Bosnia between President Clinton and Secretary of Defense William Perry. The responsive materials consist of routing memorandums regarding reports, correspondence from various Senators about the conflict in Bosnia, foreign travel request paperwork, scheduling forms, commendation letters from the President to the Secretary of Defense, and memoranda concerning emergency funding and the call-up of the military reserves to active duty.

Materials responsive to this FOIA request include routing memorandums regarding reports to the President from the Secretary, correspondence from various Senators about the conflict in Bosnia, foreign travel request paperwork from the Secretary of Defense’s Office, scheduling forms concerning briefings given by the Chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, commendation letters from the President to the Secretary of Defense, and memoranda concerning emergency funding and the call-up of the military reserves to active duty.
