Josh Gottheimer served as Special Assistant to the Director of Speechwriting in 1998 where he supervised the Speechwriting Office’s internship program and Presidential Speechwriter and Staff Director from 1999-2001. Prior to entering public service, Mr. Gottheimer served on the Rapid Response Team for Bill Clinton’s 1996 reelection campaign. After leaving the White House, Gottheimer advised on multiple presidential campaigns, and worked for the Ford Motor Company, Burson-Marsteller, and the Federal Communications Commission from 2010 through 2012. Gottheimer then joined Microsoft as a strategist before running for and winning the House of Representatives in New Jersey's 5th congressional district seat.
