Scope and Content Note This collection contains the files of Robin Bachman, who served as Associate Director of Research in the research unit of the Office of Communications from 1997 through 1999. She supported speechwriters by collecting information, verifying facts, and compiling anecdotes, including in areas such as health care, welfare, taxes, and women’s issues. Before serving in the Office of Communications, Bachman was the Research Analyst in the Democratic National Committee. The records consist of news articles, brochures, talking points, fact sheets, handwritten notes, memoranda, press releases, correspondence, speeches, and statistical material.
