Myers, Inc is a Tallmadge, OH based engineering company that specializes in electrical transformer repair and maintenance. The company had contracts to export used transformers to the United States for disposal of Polychlorinated Biphenyl (PCB). In 1995, Canada banned the export of PCB wastes. Claiming loss of business and income, Myers brought sought arbitration in 1998. The case worked through the courts finally being settled in 2004. The only direct involvement on the part of the United States was the filing of an Article 1128 submission in September 2001.
