President Clinton and Hillary Rodham Clinton host a State dinner in the East Room for President Nelson Mandela of South Africa. President Mandela is accompanied by Ms. Mandela-Hlongwane. The Clintons greet President Mandela and Ms. Mandela-Hlongwane at their arrival to the North Portico and the Grand Foyer. The Heads of State arrive in the Grand Foyer and proceed to hold a receiving line on the State Floor in the East Room. President Clinton and President Mandela deliver remarks and toasts at the dinner. Whitney Houston performs at the dinner and greets President Mandela after her performance. The video footage run time is approximately 56 minutes in duration.
