It consists entirely of records that were copied and arranged from the White House Worker and Visitor Entry System Access Control Records (WAVES ACR) dataset. Scope and Content Note The materials in 2018-0126-F are a selective body of documents responsive to the topic of the FOIA. Researchers should consult the archivist about related material. This collection contains records related to White House entry from January 20, 1993 through January 20, 2001. This collection consists entirely of records that were copied and arranged from the White House Worker and Visitor Entry System Access Control Records (WAVES ACR) dataset. The United States Secret Service maintained the WAVES ACR database to monitor entry and access to White House offices. Responsive records were isolated and selected from the WAVES ACR database and then copied to Microsoft EXCEL sheets. Record Type Electronic Records System of Arrangement Records that were responsive to this FOIA request were found in these collection areas--Clinton Presidential Records: Worker and Visitor Entry System (WAVES). The United States Secret Service Presidential Protection Division maintained databases to monitor entry and access to White House offices. The Worker and Visitor Entry System Access Control Record (WAVES ACR) database is a log of entry and exit recorded at ACR posts within the White House and is arranged by name of visitor there-under by date. Records produced for this FOIA may contain data entry errors. Data entry errors occurred as a result of human error (ex. spelling, grammar, etc.) when entering data into the WAVES ACR system. The EXCEL spreadsheet containing responsive records are organized by the data entry field from which the information was copied. It is possible that this field was not required and therefore was not entered into the WAVES ACR database. Access Collection is open to all researchers.
