Scope and Content Note FOIA 2006-1135-F (Segment 102) is a request for all Clinton Administration White House photographs taken in 1993. The photographs processed in this segment were created from November 16 through 18, 1993. The segment contains photographs pertaining to: arrivals, departures, meetings, ceremonies, press briefings, interviews, photo-ops, etc., involving President Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and staff for the time period processed. Photographs from November 16, 1993 are as follows: President William Jefferson Clinton signs the Religious Freedom Restoration Act at the White House. Present are Vice President Al Gore, Senators Orrin Hatch, Mark Hatfield, and Howard Metzenbaum. Prior to the signing the President meets with senior staff including Melanne Verveer, Alexis Herman and David Dreyer, among others. President William Jefferson Clinton addresses the Governors’ Endorsement on the North American Free Trade Agreement press conference. Present include Vice President Al Gore, Dee Dee Myers, Mark Gearan, Mickey Kantor, David Gergen, Mack McLarty, Bill Daley and Bill Frenzel, among others. President William Jefferson Clinton meets individually with Congressional Representatives regarding the North American Free Trade Agreement including Representatives John Bryan, Cynthia McKinney, Bill Young, Mel Reynolds, and Floyd Flake. President William Jefferson Clinton meets with Meiko and Masaichi Hattori at the White House. The Hattoris are parents of Yoshihiro Hattori, a Japanese exchange student who was killed in Louisiana in 1992. President William Jefferson Clinton meets with friends from Arkansas and a delegation from Alabama at two separate events. First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton participates in a health care meeting. Present are Representatives Christopher Shays & Amory Houghton, Gwendolyn Harahan and Melanne Verveer, among others.
