The photographs processed in this segment contains photographic events pertaining to arrivals, departures, meetings, ceremonies, press briefings, interviews, photo-ops, etc., involving President William Jefferson Clinton, First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, White House Staff, and others for the time period processed. Photographs from April 2, 1994, are as follows: President Clinton and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton greet Crown Manor personnel and others prior to departing the residence in Coronado, California. President Clinton greets police, state troopers, volunteers, and others prior to departing from North Island Naval Air Station in San Diego, California for Charlotte, North Carolina. Records that were responsive to this FOIA request were found in one collection area and one series—Clinton Presidential Records: Photographs of the White House Photograph Office and the series therein—Photographs Relating to the Clinton Administration. Processing is done at the Folder/Contact sheet level. While this method maintains folder/contact sheet integrity, it frequently results in the processing of photographs that are not wholly responsive to the subject area.
