FOIA 2016-0984-F (Segment 42) is a request for all Clinton Administration White House photographs taken from January 1, 1994 through December 31, 1994. The photographs processed in this segment were created from May 3, 1994 through May 5, 1994. The segment contains photographs pertaining to arrivals, departures, meetings, ceremonies, press briefings, interviews, photo-ops, etc., involving President William Jefferson Clinton, First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, White House Staff, and others for the time period processed. Images responsive to this segment was previously processed in FOIA case 2023-0675-F. Photographs from May 3, 1994 are as follows: President William Jefferson Clinton arrives at Dobbins Air Force Base in Atlanta, Georgia. President William Jefferson Clinton arrives at the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library in Atlanta, Georgia. The President is met by former President Jimmy Carter, Governor Zell Miller, and Maynard Jackson, among others. President Clinton and President Carter meet in a one-on-one. Present also are George Stephanopoulos, Dee Dee Myers, Wendy Smith, and Stephen Goodin. President Clinton drops by a meeting with the Carter Fellows prior to proceeding to the CNN World Report Contributors’ Conference. President William Jefferson Clinton participates in a staff briefing prior to proceeding to the CNN World Report Contributors’ Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. Records that were responsive to this FOIA request were found in one collection area and one series— Clinton Presidential Records: Photographs of the White House Photograph Office and the series therein—Photographs Relating to the Clinton Administration. Processing is done at the Folder/Contact sheet level. While this method maintains folder/contact sheet integrity, it frequently results in the processing of photographs that are not wholly responsive to the subject area.
