FOIA 2016-0984-F (Segment 48) is a request for all Clinton Administration White House photographs taken from January 1, 1994 through December 31, 1994. The photographs processed in this segment were created from May 20, 1994 through May 21, 1994, and May 23, 1994 through May 25, 1994. The segment contains photographs pertaining to arrivals, departures, meetings, ceremonies, press briefings, interviews, photo-ops, etc., involving President William Jefferson Clinton, First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, White House Staff, and others for the time period processed. Photographs from May 20, 1994 are as follows: President William Jefferson Clinton and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton deliver a statement on the death of First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. Following the statements the Clintons walk to Marine One on the South Lawn, en route San Bernardino, California. President William Jefferson Clinton disembarks Air Force One at San Bernardino International Airport. The President delivers remarks to guests present including the 63rd Air Expeditionary Wing. Also photographed includes Secretary of the Air Force Sheila Widnall, Jerry Eaves, Representative Jerry Lewis, Representative George Brown, Senator Barbara Boxer, and Senator Dianne Feinstein. Following his remarks, the President greets guests present at the event. President William Jefferson Clinton arrives at UCLA for the 75th Anniversary Convocation. First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton greets members of the board of The Partnership for a Drug Free America at the New York Hilton in New York. The First Lady addresses an event. Present include James Burke, Thomas A. Hedrick, Jr., Doria Steedman, Allen Rosenshine, and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus. Photographs from May 25, 1994 are as follows: First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton greets students in the White House. Also photographed is the First Lady with artwork hanging in the White House. First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton addresses the International Women’s Media Foundation at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC. Present includes Barbara Cochran, Kathy Bushkin, and Judy Woodruff.

Records that were responsive to this FOIA request were found in one collection area and one series— Clinton Presidential Records: Photographs of the White House Photograph Office and the series therein—Photographs Relating to the Clinton Administration. Processing is done at the Folder/Contact sheet level. While this method maintains folder/contact sheet integrity, it frequently results in the processing of photographs that are not wholly responsive to the subject area.
