The photographs processed in this segment were created from April 24, 1994, through April 27, 1994. All the photo contact sheets reviewed in this segment are from dates April 24, 1994, through April 27, 1994. A significant amount of photo contact sheets in this segment were previously processed in cases 2022-0196-F & 2023-0540-F. The Finding Aid inventory reflects the previously processed photo contact sheets. The segment consists of photographs pertaining to arrivals, departures, meetings, ceremonies, press briefings, interviews, photo-ops, etc., involving President Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton, White House Staff, and others for the time period processed.

FOIA 2016-0984-F (Segment 39) is a request for all Clinton Administration White House photographs taken from January 1, 1994, through December 31, 1994. All the photo contact sheets reviewed in this segment are from dates April 24, 1994, through April 27, 1994. A significant amount of the photo contact sheets in this segment were previously processed in cases 2022-0196-F and 2023-0540-F. The photographs processed in this segment contains photographic events pertaining to arrivals, departures, meetings, ceremonies, press briefings, interviews, photo-ops, etc., involving President William Jefferson Clinton, First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, White House Staff, and others for the time period processed. Photographs from April 24, 1994, are as follows: President Clinton golfs at Army Navy Country Club in Fairfax, Virginia. Photographs from April 25, 1994, are as follows: Cindy Crawford interviews Jeff Eller, Dave Anderson, and Dee Dee Myers at the White House for MTV (Music Television). Photographs from April 26, 1994, are as follows: President Clinton meets with a group of friends from Arkansas in the Oval Office. President Clinton meets in the Oval Office prior to his interview with NBC News. The President meets with Vice President Albert Gore, Dee Dee Myers, George Stephanopoulos, Gene Sperling, Michael Waldman, Robert Rubin, and Stephen Goodin. President Clinton participates in a satellite interview with Tom Brokaw, NBC News. Gene Sperling, Michael Waldman, Andrea Mitchell, George Stephanopoulos, and Dee Dee Myers are present for the interview. Views of the sprinklers watering the North Grounds of the White House. George Stephanopoulos meets in the West Wing with actor Andrew Shue from “Melrose Place.” President Clinton stands at the Oval Office desk and talks on the telephone. The First Lady greets Devon Industries personnel and addresses employees at the company. President Clinton jogs on the National Mall near the U.S. Capitol. President Clinton disembarks Marine One at Andrews Air Force Base and boards Air Force One for a flight to former President Richard M. Nixon’s funeral in Yorba Linda, California. President Clinton greets and talks to guests in Air Force One including Representative Tom Foley, Senator George Mitchell, Representative Richard Gephardt, Mack McLarty, Strobe Talbott, Alexander Haig, Caspar Weinberger, Brent Scowcroft, Charles Robb, Lynda Robb, George McGovern, and others. President Clinton meets alone on Air Force One with Robert “Bob” Strauss. First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton greets police, state troopers, and others after arriving at El Toro Marine Corps Air Station in Irvine, California. President Clinton disembarks Air Force One at El Toro Air Station and is met by the First Lady on the tarmac. The Clintons prepare to depart El Toro via a motorcade to Yorba Linda for the funeral of former President Richard M. Nixon. President Clinton and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton greet state troopers, Marines, and airport greeters prior to departing El Toro Marine Corps Air Station after attending former President Richard M. Records that were responsive to this FOIA request were found in one collection area and one series—Clinton Presidential Records: Photographs of the White House Photograph Office and the series therein—Photographs Relating to the Clinton Administration. Processing is done at the Folder/Contact sheet level. While this method maintains folder/contact sheet integrity, it frequently results in the processing of photographs that are not wholly responsive to the subject area.
