The photographs processed in this case consist of two Saint Patrick’s Day luncheons in the Rayburn Room at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, DC. The luncheons occurred on March 17, 1998, and March 17, 1999, respectively. For the 1998 event, President Clinton attends the luncheon with Prime Minister Bertie Ahern of Ireland. For the 1999 event, President Clinton attends the luncheon with Prime Minister Bertie Ahern of Ireland.

For the 1999 event, President Clinton attends the luncheon with Prime Minister Bertie Ahern of Ireland. President Clinton greets Northern Ireland Secretary of State Marjorie “Mo” Mowlam, Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams, Ambassador Phil Lader, Social Democratic and Labour Party leader John Hume, Ulster Unionist Party leader David Trimble, Northern Ireland Assembly member Seamus Mallon, Senator Edward “Ted” Kennedy, Senator Patrick Leahy, Representative Richard Gephardt, and others. Views of flower arrangements on tables at the luncheons are present. Other events that were included on the responsive photo contact sheets include: March 16, 1999: President Clinton delivers remarks regarding an Amtrak crash in Illinois and Medicare on the South Grounds prior to departing the White House. March 17, 1999: President Clinton meets in the Oval Office with Prime Minister Bertie Ahern of Ireland and others. President Clinton and Prime Minister Bertie Ahern deliver remarks to the press in the Rose Garden. President Clinton meets in the Oval Office with National Security Adviser Sandy Berger, Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, Jim Steinberg, Tony Blinken, and others.
