Ambassador Botez was Romania’s Ambassador to the United States. Ambassador Botez passed away on July 11th, 1995 in Bucharest, Romania. The material responsive to this case is from three events which include a United Nations Reception on September 27th, 1993 (previously processed in FOIA case # 2006-1135-F, and it should be referenced for responsive photographs), an event presenting Ambassador credentials at the White House in November 21st, 1994, and an event in Cleveland, Ohio on January 13th, 1995. Note: Only a small amount of material responsive to this case contains Ambassador Botez.
