The segment contains photographs pertaining to: arrivals, departures, meetings, ceremonies, press briefings, interviews, photo-ops, etc., involving President Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton, White House Staff and others for the time period processed. Of focus is a trip to Switzerland for the World Economic Forum conference.

FOIA 2016-0100-F (Segment 14) is a request for all Clinton Administration White House photographs taken from December 1, 1999 through January 31, 2000. The photographs processed in this segment were created from January 27, 2000 through January 31, 2000. The segment contains photographs pertaining to: arrivals, departures, meetings, ceremonies, press briefings, interviews, photo-ops, etc., involving President Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton, White House Staff and others for the time period processed. Of focus is a trip to Switzerland for the World Economic Forum conference. Additional images responsive to this FOIA case were determined to be responsive upon initial search. As the scope of the materials located were small in nature and did not warrant their own segment for the case they were included here. The President proceeds to the podium to stand in front of Vice President Al Gore and House Speaker Dennis Hastert. President William Jefferson Clinton, First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Chelsea Clinton attend a reception following the President’s State of the Union speech. Photographs from January 28, 2000 are as follows: President William Jefferson Clinton delivers remarks to a United States Conference of Mayors breakfast at the White House. President William Jefferson Clinton departs Andrews Air Force Base en route Quincy, Illinois. The President arrives at Quincy Municipal Airport Baldwin Field and greets local individuals present. The President proceeds to the motorcade. Local citizens are photographed along the motorcade’s route. President William Jefferson Clinton arrives at the Granite Bank Gallery at Washington Park in Quincy, Illinois. The President delivers remarks to the community. Present at the event include Dennis Prack (Granite Bank Gallery), Don Johnson (AFL-CIO), Margaret Blackchere (AFL-CIO), and State Senator Vince Demuzio. Present on the dais include Senators Richard Durbin and Peter Fitzgerald, Representatives John Shimkus, Kenny Hulsof, and Lane Evans, Chuck Scholz, and Kayt Norris. President William Jefferson Clinton departs Quincy, Illinois en route Andrews Air Force Base. Photographs from January 29, 2000 are as follows: President William Jefferson Clinton arrives in Zurich, Switzerland aboard Air Force One. The President and the United States delegation disembark and proceed to Marine One, en route Davos. President William Jefferson Clinton addresses the plenary session of the World Economic Forum at the Congress Center in Davos, Switzerland. Present on the dais is Klaus Schwab (President; World Economic Forum). After the remarks, the President proceeds to the Steigenberger Belvedere Hotel. President William Jefferson Clinton participates in a briefing with Madeleine Albright, Sandy Berger, Rob Malley, Dennis Ross, and Gamal Helal. The President meets with Chairman Yasser Arafat of the Palestinian Authority. Following the meeting, the President meets with President Adolf Ogi of Switzerland. Ambassador Richard Fredericks is present. The President greets hotel owners Ernest and Sylvia Wrsych. The President proceeds to the reception inside the hotel. Present includes Chairman Yasser Arafat, President Thabo Mbeki of South Africa, King Abdullah of Jordan, Steve Case, Susan Blumenthal, Madeleine Albright, Liz Robbins, and Mayor Richard Daley, among others. President William Jefferson Clinton greets people at the Dolder Grand Hotel in Zurich, Switzerland. President William Jefferson Clinton shops in Switzerland. Staff are photographed on the motorcade bus. Photographs from January 30, 2000 are as follows: President William Jefferson Clinton hosts a watch party for the Super Bowl in the Family Theatre. Photographs from January 31, 2000 are as follows: President William Jefferson Clinton participates in a videotaping session in the Map Room. President William Jefferson Clinton speaks on the telephone with Prime Minister Ehud Barak. President William Jefferson Clinton & First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton meet with architects for the Clinton Presidential Library. Records that were responsive to this FOIA request were found in one collection area and one series— Clinton Presidential Records: Photographs of the White House Photograph Office and the series therein—Photographs Relating to the Clinton Administration. Processing is done at the Folder/Contact sheet level. While this method maintains folder/contact sheet integrity, it frequently results in the processing of photographs that are not wholly responsive to the subject area.
