Scope and Content Note FOIA 2016-0100-F (Segment 9) is a request for all Clinton Administration White House photographs taken from December 1, 1999 through January 31, 2000. The photographs processed in this segment were created from December 31, 1999 through January 2, 2000. The segment contains photographs pertaining to: arrivals, departures, meetings, ceremonies, press briefings, interviews, photo-ops, etc., involving President Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton, White House Staff and others for the time period processed. Photographs from December 31, 1999 are as follows: President Clinton and Hillary Rodham Clinton host a Millennium Celebration dinner in the East Room and the South Lawn Pavilion of the White House. Notable dinner guests include: Muhammad Ali, Lynda Carter, Jack Nicholson, Martin Scorsese and others President Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton and Chelsea Clinton attend “America’s Millennium Lincoln Memorial Gala.” in Washington, DC. President Clinton and Hillary Rodham Clinton deliver remarks at the Gala. Performances at the Gala include: Bono of U2, Jessye Norman, Kenny Rogers, John Fogerty and others. A laser show and fireworks were part of the Gala at Midnight. President Clinton and Hillary Rodham Clinton confer with Loretta Ucelli in the Map Room before departing for the Millennium Opening Ceremony in Washington President Clinton and Hillary Rodham Clinton arrive at 12th and Constitution Ave. in Washington to participate in the Opening Ceremony of America’s Millennium. The Clinton’s address the Opening Ceremony and close the doors of the National Time Capsule during the ceremony. The U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute perform in the sky and parachute into Washington.
