FOIA 2016-0984-F (Segment 120) is a request for all Clinton Administration White House photographs taken from January 1, 1994 through December 31, 1994. The photographs processed in this segment were created on December 16, 1994 through December 20, 1994. The segment contains photographs pertaining to arrivals, departures, meetings, ceremonies, press briefings, interviews, photo-ops, etc., involving President William Jefferson Clinton, First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, White House Staff, and others for the time period processed. Photographs from December 16, 1994 are as follows: President William Jefferson Clinton participates in a welfare reform briefing in the Cabinet Room of the White House. Present includes Carol Rasco, Robert Rubin, George Stephanopoulos, Bruce Reed, and Mark Gearan, among others. President William Jefferson Clinton participates in an environmental briefing in the Oval Office of the White House. Present includes Katie McGinty, Leon Panettta, and Pat Griffin, among others. President William Jefferson Clinton & First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton tape a holiday message, a Disney message, and a Partnership for a Drug-Free America message in the Diplomatic Reception Room of the White House. Present is Socks the cat who sits on the First Lady’s lap. Dave Anderson is present. President William Jefferson Clinton & First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton address staff on the South Lawn of the White House. Leon Panetta is present with the Clintons. Staff greeted following remarks include Loretta Avent, Claude Taylor, Sam Myers, Melinda Bates, and Dave Carpenter, among others. President William Jefferson Clinton delivers a press conference regarding the budget in Room 450 of the Old Executive Office Building. Records that were responsive to this FOIA request were found in one collection area and one series— Clinton Presidential Records: Photographs of the White House Photograph Office and the series therein—Photographs Relating to the Clinton Administration. Processing is done at the Folder/Contact sheet level. While this method maintains folder/contact sheet integrity, it frequently results in the processing of photographs that are not wholly responsive to the subject area.
