FOIA 2008-0666-F (Segment 13) is a request for all Clinton Administration White House photographs taken from July 1, 2000 through December 31, 2000. The photographs processed in this segment were created from August 29, 2000 through September 2, 2000. The segment contains photographs pertaining to: arrivals, departures, meetings, ceremonies, photo-ops, etc., involving President Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, staff and others for the time period processed. Photographs from August 29, 2000 are as follows: President William Jefferson Clinton and Chelsea Clinton disembark Air Force One at Andrews Air Force Base on their return from Africa. Photographs from August 30, 2000 are as follows: President William Jefferson Clinton and Chelsea Clinton depart via Air Force One from Andrews Air Force Base en route Colombia. The President converses with staff aboard Air Force One. Air Force One arrives at the Rafael Nunez Airport in Cartagena, Colombia. The President and Chelsea Clinton are met by President Andres Pastrana and Mrs. Nohra Pastrana. President Clinton and President Pastrana participate in an arrival ceremony. President William Jefferson Clinton and President Andres Pastrana meet at the Fuerte de San Juan de Manzanillo, Case de Huespedes. They greet Mrs. Norha Pastrana and Valentina Pastrana. President Clinton and President Pastrana deliver remarks. Later they tour the grounds. Present for the events are Chelsea Clinton, Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, Attorney General Janet Reno, Rob Rosen, and Douglas Band, among others. President William Jefferson Clinton and President Andres Pastrana tour the port of Cartagena. Present are Chelsea Clinton, Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, Senator Joe Biden, and Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert, among others. They later tour the Cartagena Casa de Justicia and greet individuals there. President William Jefferson Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, President Andres Pastrana and Mrs. Nohra Pastrana tour the old market port of Cartagena. The President greets individuals in a crowd. Street performers dance and play. Members of the US Delegation are present as well including John Podesta and Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, among others. President William Jefferson Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, and the US Delegation depart Cartagena, Colombia via Air Force One en route Andrews Air Force Base. Photographs from September 1, 2000 are as follows: President William Jefferson Clinton delivers a speech on National Security & National Missile Defense at Georgetown University. President are Bob Gallucci, Dean of the School of Foreign Service, and Dorothy Brown, Office of the Provost of Georgetown University. President William Jefferson Clinton and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton embark on Marine One from the South Lawn at the White House en route Syracuse, New York. The President and First Lady arrive in Syracuse at the Syracuse Hancock Airport. They greet individuals present including Dan Robinson, James Mahaney, Bill Simmons, Mike Atkins, Nicholas Pirro, Dan Young, Jay Land, Linda Land, David Bennett, Gerda Bennett, Paul Nelson, Janet Nelson, Bethany Nelson, Lee Michaels, Sue Michaels, Bob Lahm, Marsha Kamp Rothenberg, Rabbi Charles Sherman, Cathy Calhoun, Steven Paquette, Marshall Blake, Rea Jezer, Patrick Mannion, Gwen Mannion Bernadette Sanaker, and Nathaniel Sanaker, among others. The President and First Lady accept gifts handed to them by individuals in the crowd. (Sept. 1, 2000 continued) President William Jefferson Clinton tapes his weekly radio address at the Southwest Community Center in Syracuse, New York. Photographs from September 2, 2000 are as follows: President William Jefferson Clinton and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton greet people in Skaneateles, New York at various locations, including The Sherwood Inn, in an unidentified restaurant and on the street.

Records that were responsive to this FOIA request were found in one collection area and one series— Clinton Presidential Records: Photographs of the White House Photograph Office and the series therein—Photographs Relating to the Clinton Administration. Processing is done at the Folder/Contact sheet level. While this method maintains folder/contact sheet integrity, it frequently results in the processing of photographs that are not wholly responsive to the subject area.
