The segment consists of photographs pertaining to arrivals, departures, meetings, ceremonies, press briefings, interviews, photo-ops, etc., involving President Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton, White House Staff, and others for the time period processed.

FOIA 2016-0984-F (Segment 73) is a request for all Clinton Administration White House photographs taken from January 1, 1994 through December 31, 1994. The photographs processed in this segment were created on July 18, 1994 & July 25, 1994 through July 26, 1994. The segment contains photographs pertaining to arrivals, departures, meetings, ceremonies, press briefings, interviews, photo-ops, etc., involving President William Jefferson Clinton, First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, White House Staff, and others for the time period processed. Of particular focus is an event for the signing at the White House of the Washington Declaration between Israel and Jordan. Photographs from July 18, 1994 are as follows: President William Jefferson Clinton goes jogging with Representative Peter Deutsch near the ocean in Miami, Florida. President William Jefferson Clinton addresses the National Council of La Raza luncheon at the Miami Beach Convention Center. President William Jefferson Clinton meets with various groups at the Sheraton Bal Harbour in Miami, Florida, including the host committee for the Summit of the Americas, Business Leaders, and The Miami Hearld editorial board. President William Jefferson Clinton departs Miami International Airport en route Brunswick Naval Air Station & Portland, Maine. The President speaks with guests prior to departure. Photographs from July 25, 1994 are as follows: President William Jefferson Clinton & First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton participate in the arrival of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and King Hussein bin Talah to the White House. Photographed are Queen Noor, Leah Rabin, Secretary of State Warren Christopher, and Molly Raiser. The President, King Hussein, and Prime Minister Rabin re photographed in the Oval Office, Cabinet Room, Blair House, and South Lawn of the White House. Also photographed includes Vice President Albert Gore, Jr. and Leon Panetta, among others. President William Jefferson Clinton & First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton host a dinner for King Hussein bin Talah, & Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin at the White House. Also present are Vice President Albert Gore, Jr., Mary Elizabeth “Tipper” Gore, Queen Noor, and Leah Rabin. The leaders make remarks at the dinner and toast. Entertainment for the dinner is provided by The Strolling Strings. President William Jefferson Clinton stops by a meeting with the Acorn Executive committee in the Roosevelt Room of the White House. Present includes Carol Rasco. The President participates in a group photo-shoot. Later the President speaks on the telephone in the Oval Office with President Hafiz Asad of Syria. Also documented is the President walking through the West Wing offices. Photographs from July 26, 1994 are as follows: President William Jefferson Clinton goes jogging around the Potomac River in Washington, DC. The President stops to greet tourists outside the White House. President William Jefferson Clinton participates in a briefing in the Oval Office of the White House for a meeting with the Congressional Black Caucus. Present include Alexis Herman, Rahm Emanuel, Pat Griffin, Leon Panetta, George Stephanopoulos, Ron Klain, and Samuel “Sandy” Berger. The President proceeds to a meeting with the Congressional Black Caucus in the Roosevelt Room. Present includes Representative Kweisi Mfume, Representative Cleo Fields, Representative William Jefferson, and Representative Charles Rangel. (Photographs from July 26, 1994 continued:) President William Jefferson Clinton participates in separate meetings in the Oval Office of the White House with Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and King Hussein bin Talah of Jordan. Present at the meetings include Shimon Peres, Secretary of State Warren Christopher, Tony Lake, Dennis Ross, and Martin Indyk. Prior to the meetings the President converses with Vice President Albert Gore Jr., George Stephanopoulos, Margaret Jane “Dee Dee” Myers, Mark Gearan, Bob Boorstin, and Molly Raiser. Following the meetings the President, Prime Minister Rabin, and King Hussein participate in a press conference in the East Room of the White House. Present includes First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, Queen Noor, and Leah Rabin. Also photographed are the First Lady, Queen Noor, and Mrs. Rabin in the Diplomatic Reception Room, Green Room, and Red Room of the White House. First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton greet interns in the Old Executive Office Building hallway. Present includes JoAnn Anderson. The First Lady participates in a satellite feed in Room 459 of the OEOB with the Urban League at the Indiana Convention Center. Leon Panetta in the West Wing of the White House greets Governor Mario Cuomo and Phil Lader. Later Panetta speaks with Chris Edley, Jr. Tony Lake in the West Wing of the White House greets families and friends of the victims of the crash of Pan Am Flight 103. The group brought a scale model of the Pan Am aircraft.

Records that were responsive to this FOIA request were found in one collection area and one series— Clinton Presidential Records: Photographs of the White House Photograph Office and the series therein—Photographs Relating to the Clinton Administration. Processing is done at the Folder/Contact sheet level. While this method maintains folder/contact sheet integrity, it frequently results in the processing of photographs that are not wholly responsive to the subject area.
