The President also meets with George Stephanopoulos, Bob Boorstin, and Don Baer. Following the meeting the President proceeds to address the Polish Parliament. Also present is First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, First Lady Mirosława Danuta Wałęsa, and Lisa Rey (wife of Ambassador Nicholas Rey). President William Jefferson Clinton and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton participate in a wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Warsaw, Poland. Present include Ambassador Nicholas Rey and Tony Lake. Following this event the President and First Lady proceed to the Jewish residential district in Warsaw for a wreath laying ceremony. Present include Rabbi Jaskovicz, Mark Edelman, Paula Sawicka, and Marian Turski. President William Jefferson Clinton and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton greet embassy personnel and their families at the Ambassador’s residence in Warsaw, Poland. Photographed includes Ambassador Nicholas Rey, Lisa Rey, and Secretary of State Warren Christopher. President William Jefferson Clinton, First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Chelsea Clinton visit the memorial to the children of the Warsaw uprising in Warsaw, Poland. President William Jefferson Clinton meets with staff at the Hotel Vesuvio in Naples, Italy. Present include Tony Lake, Bowman Cutter, Robert Rubin, Thomas “Mack” McLarty, Mickey Kantor, and Dr. Connie Mariano. Following the meeting the President proceeds to a bi-lateral meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Tomiichi Murayama (村山富市). Following the bi-lateral meeting the President delivers a press statement from the docks outside the hotel. Later the President walks around Naples, Italy. President William Jefferson Clinton participates in a working dinner at the Castel dell’Ovo (“Egg Castle”) with economic summit leaders.
