Of particular focus is a trip to Warsaw, Poland to honor victims during World War II.

FOIA 2016-0984-F (Segment 65) is a request for all Clinton Administration White House photographs taken from January 1, 1994 through December 31, 1994. The photographs processed in this segment were created on July 6, 1994 through July 8, 1994, and July 10, 1994. The segment contains photographs pertaining to arrivals, departures, meetings, ceremonies, press briefings, interviews, photo-ops, etc., involving President William Jefferson Clinton, First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, White House Staff, and others for the time period processed. Of particular focus is a trip to Warsaw, Poland to honor victims during World War II. Photographs from July 6, 1994 are as follows: President William Jefferson Clinton and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton visit the Presidential Palace in Warsaw, Poland. Also photographed is Chelsea Clinton attending the ballet in Warsaw, Poland. Photographs from July 7, 1994 are as follows: President William Jefferson Clinton jogs in Warsaw, Poland. President William Jefferson Clinton meets with Polish Prime Minister Waldemar Pawlak in the Polish Parliament Building in Warsaw, Poland, Present include Secretary of State Warren Christopher, Tony Lake, and David Gergen. The President also meets with George Stephanopoulos, Bob Boorstin, and Don Baer. Following the meeting the President proceeds to address the Polish Parliament. Also present is First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, First Lady Mirosława Danuta Wałęsa, and Lisa Rey (wife of Ambassador Nicholas Rey). Following the speech President Clinton and President Lech Wałęsa speak with Lane Kirkland, Ambassador Nicholas Rey), and Secretary Christopher. President William Jefferson Clinton speaks on the phone with Speaker of the Parliament Józef Oleksy and Speaker of the Senate Adam Krzysztof Struzik. President William Jefferson Clinton and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton participate in a wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Warsaw, Poland. Present include Ambassador Nicholas Rey and Tony Lake. Following this event the President and First Lady proceed to the Jewish residential district in Warsaw for a wreath laying ceremony. Present include Rabbi Jaskovicz, Mark Edelman, Paula Sawicka, and Marian Turski. President William Jefferson Clinton and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton greet embassy personnel and their families at the Ambassador’s residence in Warsaw, Poland. Photographed includes Ambassador Nicholas Rey, Lisa Rey, and Secretary of State Warren Christopher. President William Jefferson Clinton, First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Chelsea Clinton visit the memorial to the children of the Warsaw uprising in Warsaw, Poland. The Clinton family participate in a wreath laying ceremony. Present include Jonathan Anderson, Allison Brennan, Amelia Suczek, and Maciek Szwed. President Clinton addresses the event. Present includes Ryszard Paclawski, Magda Kierszniewski, and Adam Bielaczki. Later the Clinton family tour a church in the vicinity. Also photographed include Molly Raiser and Will Itoh. First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton visits “On the Market Square.” Also present during the visit are First Lady Mirosława Danuta Wałęsa, Lisa Rey (wife of Ambassador Nicholas Rey), and Irena Koźmiński (wife of Ambassador Jerzy Koźmiński). First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton arrives at the Wilanow Palace in Warsaw, Poland to attend the Chopin Concerto and luncheon. President William Jefferson Clinton delivers his weekly radio address at the Hotel Vesuvio in Naples, Italy. Following the taping the President confers with Secretary of State Warren Christopher, David Gergen, Tony Lake, George Stephanopoulos, Mark Gearan, Thomas “Mack” McLarty, Michael Waldman, and Don Baer. President William Jefferson Clinton meets with staff at the Hotel Vesuvio in Naples, Italy. Present include Tony Lake, Bowman Cutter, Robert Rubin, Thomas “Mack” McLarty, Mickey Kantor, and Dr. Connie Mariano. Following the meeting the President proceeds to a bi-lateral meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Tomiichi Murayama (村山富市). Following the bi-lateral meeting the President delivers a press statement from the docks outside the hotel. Later the President walks around Naples, Italy. President William Jefferson Clinton participates in a working dinner at the Castel dell’Ovo (“Egg Castle”) with economic summit leaders. Present includes Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, President François Mitterrand, Chancellor Helmut Kohl, Prime Minister John Major, Prime Minister Tomiichi Murayama (村山富市), and President Jacques Delores. Records that were responsive to this FOIA request were found in one collection area and one series— Clinton Presidential Records: Photographs of the White House Photograph Office and the series therein—Photographs Relating to the Clinton Administration. Processing is done at the Folder/Contact sheet level. While this method maintains folder/contact sheet integrity, it frequently results in the processing of photographs that are not wholly responsive to the subject area.
