FOIA 2016-0984-F (Segment 96) is a request for all Clinton Administration White House photographs taken from January 1, 1994 through December 31, 1994. The photographs processed in this segment were created on October 10, 1994 through October 12, 1994. The segment contains photographs pertaining to arrivals, departures, meetings, ceremonies, press briefings, interviews, photo-ops, etc., involving President William Jefferson Clinton, First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, White House Staff, and others for the time period processed. Photographs from October 10, 1994 are as follows: President William Jefferson Clinton works with senior staff on his address to Haiti & regarding the situation in Iraq in the Oval Office, Outer Oval Office, and Oval Office Mess. Present includes Secretary of Defense William Perry, General John Shalikashvili, and Tony Lake. Also photographed are Harold Ickes, David Gergen, George Stephanopoulos, Betty Currie, Leon Panetta, Mark Gearan, Samuel “Sandy” Berger, and Rahm Emanuel. Jim Reed sets up a telephone call at the Resolute Desk and the President speaks on the telephone. Martin Indyk joins the President. Later the President delivers an address to the nation regarding policy towards both Haiti & situation in Iraq. Processing is done at the Folder/Contact sheet level. While this method maintains folder/contact sheet integrity, it frequently results in the processing of photographs that are not wholly responsive to the subject area.
