Summary The photographs processed in this case relate to President Clinton attending the annual National Prayer Breakfast at the Washington Hilton in Washington, DC. The event is held in February each year and this request was regarding the years 1994 through 2000. President Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Vice President Albert Gore and Tipper Gore attended the Prayer Breakfast events. Scope and Content Note The materials in FOIA 2018-0726-F are a selective, not necessarily all inclusive, body of photographs responsive to the topic of the FOIA. Researchers should consult the archivist about related materials. This FOIA consists of photographs pertaining to the annual National Prayer Breakfast held at the Washington Hilton Hotel in February during the years of 1994 through 2000 (photos for the 1993 National Prayer Breakfast were previously processed in FOIA 2006-1135-F). The event, which is actually a series of meetings and luncheons, has taken place since 1953. President Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton and Vice President Gore with Tipper Gore attended the Prayer Breakfast events. Some notable guests at the Prayer Breakfast programs include: Mother Teresa, Rev. Billy Graham, Gen. John Shalikashvili, Denyce Graves, Dorothy Height, Chairman Yasser Arafat, Don Shula, Evander Holyfield, Rep. Newt Gingrich, Sen. John Glenn and Sen. Connie Mack. The following events in part were included on the responsive photo contact sheets and were processed: President Clinton addressing students at Kramer Junior High School in Washington on February 3, 1994 and the State Arrival Ceremony for President Jacques Chirac of France at the White House on February 1, 1996.
