Summary The photographs processed in this case consist of an event celebrating the Federal Government recognition of the Nottawaseppi Huron Band tribe of Potawatomi Indians, the event took place in the Indian Treaty Room of the Old Executive Office Building (OEOB) on December 19, 1995. Scope and Content Note FOIA request 2025-1081-F is a request for all Presidential series photographs regarding for photographs concerning a Native American Tribe Celebration event from 1995. On December 19, 1995, the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of Potawatomi Indians celebrated the Federal Government recognition of their tribe. The event took place in the Indian Treaty Room of the Old Executive Office Building (OEOB). Administration staff including Melanne Verveer and Loretta Avent were present at the meeting and celebration with the American Indian tribe. Native Americans perform traditional music and rituals during the celebration.
