The segment consists of photographs pertaining to arrivals, departures, meetings, ceremonies, press briefings, interviews, photo-ops, etc., involving President Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton, White House Staff, and others for the time period processed.

FOIA 2016-0984-F (Segment 90) is a request for all Clinton Administration White House photographs taken September 25, 1994, through September 27, 1994. Photo contact sheets from September 26, 1994, were previously processed in case 2022-0200-F. The Finding Aid inventory will reflect the previously processed photo contact sheets. The Clinton Presidential records to be opened consist of photographs pertaining to arrivals, departures, meetings, ceremonies, press briefings, official phone calls, photo-ops, etc. involving President William Jefferson Clinton, First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, White House Staff, and others for the time period processed. Photographs from September 25, 1994, are as follows: President Clinton meets with President Alija Izetbegovic of Bosnia at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York, New York. Photographs from September 27, 1994, are as follows: President Clinton takes a morning jog along the National Mall in Washington, D.C. President Clinton meets with Senator Ernest Hollings in the Oval Office. President Clinton walks along the White House Colonnade with Tony Lake. President Clinton and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton participate in the State Arrival Ceremony for President Boris Yeltsin and his wife Naina Yeltsina on the South Lawn of the White House. President Clinton and President Yeltsin review the troops and address the ceremony. President Yeltsin signs the guest book at the White House. President Clinton and President Yeltsin greet guests in the Cross Hall of the residence after the ceremony. The Presidents walk along the White House Colonnade to the Oval Office where they look at President Clinton’s memorabilia and campaign button collection. President Clinton meets with President Yeltsin on the White House Patio area. President Clinton and President Yeltsin have an expanded meeting in the Cabinet Room with Vice President Albert Gore, Secretary Warren Christopher, Secretary William Perry, and others. First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton and Naina Yeltsina have a meeting over coffee in the Yellow Oval Room. Tipper Gore is present at the meeting. First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton holds a roundtable discussion in the Diplomatic Reception Room with Naina Yeltsina. Tipper Gore and organizational leaders are part of the discussion group. First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton shows the Truman Balcony to Naina Yeltsina. Photographs from September 27, 1994, Continued: President Clinton and President Yeltsin participate in a ceremony for U.S. and Russian World War II Veterans in the Rose Garden. President Clinton awards a medal to a Russian Veteran and President Yeltsin awards a medal to a U.S. Veteran. The Clintons escort the Yeltsin’s to the South Grounds prior to their departure of the White House. The Clintons walk on the South Lawn sidewalk and talk alone on the White House Colonnade. President Clinton and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton host a State Dinner for President Boris Yeltsin and his wife Naina Yeltsina at the White House. The Clintons give a tour of the private residence for President Yeltsin and his wife. President Yeltsin greets Chelsea Clinton. The Clintons and Yeltsins greet guests in the Grand Foyer. The dinner takes place in the State Dining Room. Soprano Kathleen Battle performs in the East Room for the guests. The Clintons bid the Yeltsins farewell at the North Portico of the White House. President Clinton addresses the Hispanic Caucus dinner at the Washington Hilton Hotel. Dinner participants include Bill Richardson, Representative Nydia Velazquez, Representative Ed Pastor, Representative Edward Esteban Torres, Representative Jose Serrano, and others.

Records that were responsive to this FOIA request were found in one collection area and one series—Clinton Presidential Records: Photographs of the White House Photograph Office and the series therein—Photographs Relating to the Clinton Administration. Processing is done at the Folder/Contact sheet level. While this method maintains folder/contact sheet integrity, it frequently results in the processing of photographs that are not wholly responsive to the subject area.
