It contains National Security Council cables and emails concerning White House press briefings, trade issues with China, and Most Favored Nation (MFN) negotiations. The collection also includes a set of 49 letters to various Congressmen responding to their critique of the Clinton administration’s policy toward China, Taiwan, and the World Trade Organization. The film, released on July 1, 1997, is a science fiction film about the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence (SETI) Program. The screenplay was co-written by Carl Sagan and Ann Druyan and based on the novel of the same title written by Sagan. This collection consists of memos regarding the use of the President’s image in the film and email concerning the film’s co author and Sagan’s wife, Ann Druyan. Systematically Processed Collection Textual (2006-1854-S Segment 1) Winfield House - Official Residence of the United States Ambassador to the United Kingdom This collection consists of correspondence, press releases and reports, speeches, trip planning information, daily schedules, and public remarks concerning the Winfield House, the U.S. Ambassador’s residence in London. During his presidency, President Clinton visited the residence three times: November 1995 and May 1997 and 1998. Freedom of Information Act Collection Textual (2006-1759-F Segment 1) The Good Friday Agreement This collection centers on the role of the Clinton Administration in the negotiations leading up to the Good Friday Agreement. The Good Friday Agreement (less commonly known as the Belfast Agreement) was made up of two inter-related documents, both signed on 10 April 1998. The collection contains National Security Council cables, email, and records from NSC European Affairs Office.
