Among her duties, Ms. Kincaid tracked and processed requests for the First Lady’s signature on photographs and books including “Dear Socks, Dear Buddy” and “It Takes a Village”. She also handled correspondence with various citizens requesting tours of the White House and personal meetings with the First Lady. This collection consists of correspondence, meeting notes, monthly calendars, copies of book signature requests and photograph signatures. It also contains travel vouchers and scheduling information. This collection consists of background information on former First Ladies, copies of Hillary Clinton’s speeches, news articles covering Mrs. Clinton’s role as an advocate for children’s issues and briefing papers on select administration policies. Freedom of Information Act Collection Textual (2014-0316-F) Robert Z. Lawrence - Council of Economic Advisers This collection consists of email correspondence to and from Robert Z. Lawrence. Robert Z. Lawrence served on the Council of Economic Advisors from 1999-2001. As a member of the CEA, he worked on many issues concerning international and domestic trade. He provided advice for the President and senior White House officials, participated in the interagency process, assisted in writing the annual Economic Report of the President and CEA white papers, drafted testimony for the CEA Chair, contributed to the International Roundups for the President's Weekly Economic Briefing, and attended world trade conferences. The emails in this collection span the months of March through December of 1999. They include many routine email concerning meeting arrangements, hiring CEA staff, lunch appointments, scheduling conference calls, staff farewells, phone messages, and international and trade conference arrangements. Freedom of Information Act Collection Textual (2014-0317-F) Jeffrey Frankel This collection consists of email correspondence to and from Jeffrey Frankel in 1999. Jeffrey A. Frankel is a macroeconomist who served as Chief Economist on the Council of Economic Advisors (CEA) from 1996-1999. Frankel left the CEA in 1999 to serve as New Century Chair at the Bookings Institution. The email in this collection are after he left the White House and continued to correspond with White House staffers concerning his scholarly publications. Topics of his email include but are not limited to climate change, dollarization and economic statistics. Freedom of Information Act Collection Textual (2014-0318-F) Kathryn L. Shaw This collection consists of email correspondence created and received by Kathryn L. Shaw between November 11, 1999 and December 31, 1999. Kathryn L. Shaw was a member of the Council of Economic Advisors (CEA) from 1999-2001. The email in this collection contain drafts of the Economics Report to the President (ERP), discussions of Shaw’s nomination to the CEA, and discussion of her work outside of the CEA specifically concerning her role in research projects, such as her contributions to “The Impact of Workplace and Technological Innovations on the Demand for Less-Skilled Labor.” Systematically Processed Collection Textual (2014-0323-S) Diane Limo - Office of the First Lady Diane Limo was the Special Assistant and Office Manager for the First Lady’s operations in the Old Executive Office Building from June 1993 to February 1994. Her duties included ensuring proper protocol for official events, routing incoming faxes and ensuring the smooth operation of the First Lady’s office. This collection consists of event protocol forms that detail seating arrangements, music, food and drink requirements, and press accommodations for events at the White House from June 1993 to February 1994. The series also contains office fax logs and interoffice staff memorandums from the Office of the First Lady. Freedom of Information Act Collection Textual (2014-0384-F) Teenage Pregnancy This collection consists of correspondence from the general public or interested groups regarding teenage pregnancy. The collection focuses on correspondence addressing teen pregnancy that was sent to the White House from the general public and interested groups. This collection consists of academic papers, correspondence forms, drafts, letters, memoranda, notes, press clippings, press releases, reports, resumes, and statements. Freedom of Information Act Collection Photographs (2014-0386-F) White House Photos - Iowa Youth Shelter Services This collection consists of photographs related to Hillary Rodham Clinton visiting Youth Shelter Services in Ames, Iowa on February 3, 1996. Hillary Rodham Clinton meet with shelter staff and participated in a discussion group with parents and children at the shelter. Freedom of Information Act Collection Textual (2014-0387-F) Karen Binette This collection consists of letters that were attached to a letter sent to President Clinton from Karen Binette, Program Director of the TEEN CARE Program in Worcester, Massachusetts, on July 5, 1994. The letters were from 13 teenaged mothers who used a basic template to prepare a written request to the President to include new funds for quality child care assistance in his reform of welfare. The records consist of letters. Topics cover Aid to Families with Dependent Children, child care, children’s health, teen motherhood, and welfare reform. Zinn was an American historian, author, playwright, and social activist who wrote extensively on civil rights, anti-war movements, and the labor history of the United States. This collection consists of emails describing one of Zinn's books and quotes by Zinn regarding sanctions against Iraq and impeachment.
