The High Noon is an American Western film that released in 1952. The film earned an estimated $3.4 million at the North American box office. The collection contains interview transcripts with President Clinton from People Magazine and Katie Couric of NBC. The files also include correspondence, drafts, notes, invitations and internet articles. Systematically Processed Collection Textual (2016-1111-S) Julie Fernandes - Domestic Policy Council This collection contains the records of Julie Fernandes. Ms. Fernandes worked in the White House Domestic Policy Council’s Office as Special Assistant to President Clinton. Her work involved policy development regarding civil rights, race relations, and immigration. The files contain correspondence, emails, memorandum, press releases, speeches, talking points, handwritten notes and reports. The records in this collection relates to Native Americans and contains material regarding economic development, education, health care, reservations/land disputes, welfare and religion. Freedom of Information Act Collection Textual (2016-1126-F) Laura Tyson This collection consists of material concerning Laura Tyson and trade between the United States and Japan. She was one of President Clinton’s most trusted economic advisors, serving on the Council of Economic Advisors (CEA) from 1993-1995 and on the National Economic Council (NEC) from 1995-1996. The trade imbalance between the United States and Japan was her main focus during this period. Tyson created the “Framework Deal” as the beginning point for all negotiations involving the two countries. Areas of negotiation included autos and auto parts, glass, and semiconductors. The collection contains talking points, correspondence, memoranda, notes, and newspaper articles. The collection contains memoranda, scheduling proposals, profile sheets, and routing slips. Freedom of Information Act Collection Textual (2017-0035-F) Anthony Lake - the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI), and Arms Shipments to Bosnia This collection consists of records related to communications between Anthony Lake, SSCI Chairman Arlen Specter, and SSCI Vice Chairman Bob Kerrey pertaining to Bosnian arms shipments. It includes Department of State press briefing transcripts and press guidance in response to news media reports of Iranian arms shipments into Bosnia, National Security Council emails related to press guidance and legislative updates on the SSCI inquiry, and newspaper articles pertaining to weapons shipments to Bosnia.
