Mr. Sullivan was a political adviser to the NATO-led Kosovo Force (KFOR) commander. The collection includes three emails that had been sent to Sullivan regarding the Article 32 Court Martial hearings against Staff Sergeant Frank Ronghi for the murder of an ethnic Albanian girl. Freedom of Information Act Collection Textual (2019-0344-F) George Stephanopoulos and Kosovo This collection consists of unclassified electronic records regarding George Stephanopoulos and events during the Kosovo conflict. Mr. Stephanopoulos served from the outset of the administration in 1993 as communications director and then senior advisor to the President. He departed the Clinton Administration right after the 1996 campaign in December. It contains a 1999 compilation report on Kosovo-related news in which he is mentioned in passing. President Ronald Reagan nominated Barry to a seat on the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in 1983. It contains collections of court cases that were handled by Judge Barry, copies of Judge Barry’s most significant court cases, her writing samples from some court cases, and emails containing news articles and press releases regarding her 1999 judicial appointment. The collection also contains correspondence, memoranda, speeches, talking points and various questionnaires for Judge Barry’s appointment to the 3rd Circuit Court of New Jersey. It contains emails and cables that discuss regional matters in which Ambassador Montgomery was involved. Ryan and Kosovo This collection consists of records related to Michael Ryan and events/subjects related to the Kosovo conflict. General Michael Ryan served as Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force from 1997 to 2001. It contains emails which contain articles, briefings, memcons, news show transcripts, press guidance, and speech drafts. Freedom of Information Act Collection Videos (2019-0520-F) White House Videos - Radio Address Recordings This collection consists of video recordings of two weekly radio address tapings on October 9, 1993 and October 23, 1993. Processed under the case was only material responsive to the second date on the 23rd; no material was located from the 9th. Freedom of Information Act Collection Textual (2019-0568-F) Gene Sperling and Economic terms This collection consists of records relating to Gene Sperling and Banking Regulation, Cato Institute, Contract with America, Financial Deregulation, Glass-Steagall, Goldman Sachs, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Heritage Foundation, and James Buchanan. Gene Sperling was President Clinton’s economic adviser and was responsible for coordinating economic policy and chairing policy meetings with the economic cabinet. He served as Deputy Director and then Director of the National Economic Council during the Clinton Administration. He served as Deputy Director from 1993 – 1996 and then Director from 1996 – 2001. The collection contains correspondence, emails, memos, talking points, reports, and news articles. The collection consists of materials on the Republican Contract with America ’94, Congressional Research Service Reports, Cato Institute on Social Security Issues, The Impact of a Balanced-Budget Amendment and the Contract with America on State Finances. The vast majority of emails in this collection contain news media material, specifically TV news program transcripts.
