Freedom of Information Act Collection Textual (2019-0031-F) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) - 1995 Memo related to the Emergency Alert System (EAS) This collection consists of records related to the September 1995 memo to the Federal Emergency Management Agency regarding Presidential communications with the general public during emergencies. It contains the subject memo, supporting notes and a routing sheet. Freedom of Information Act Collection Textual (2019-0147-F) Liberation Theology, Mireya Moscoso, and Panama Safe Haven This collection consists of records related to Liberation Theology, Mireya Moscoso, and Panama Safe Haven. Freedom of Information Act Collection Textual (2019-0152-F) Latin America and IMF This collection consists of emails mentioning the International Monetary Fund (IMF) near Latin America. This collection contains publications such as USIA Early Report, Oxford Analytica, Reuters, and Latin America Advisor. The most responsive documents discuss the IMF’s involvement in containing contagion related to the 1997-1998 Russian and Asian Financial Crisis. However, some emails relate to Y2K prep and the 1995 Mexican Currency Crisis.
